Julia Barnes (she/her/hers)(Enid Hoopes/Ensemble) is super excited to return to DLC! Past shows at DLC include multiple shows of Best of Broadway (Ensemble) and Into The Woods Jr. (Narrator). She has also done multiple shows at Elkridge Landing Middle and Glen Mar Church. Julia enjoys playing video games and singing in her free time. Julia would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her!

Amani Brown (Store Manager/Delta Nu/Kayla/Serina(Courtroom)) is excited to make her DLC debut on stage! Past theater credits include : Moana (Tamatoa), Wizard of Oz (The Lion) at Laurel Woods Elementary School. Amani enjoys dog sitting and doing gymnastics. Max Eagan (Professor Callahan) is excited to make their debut at the Drama Learning Center! Their past theatre credits are Trilogy of the Burning Earth (Juror/Creon) at Wilde Lake Middle School and Willy Wonka Jr. (Mr. Salt) at Family Theatre Inc. When off the stage, he enjoys playing video games and sculpting. He would like to thank Viv, Damian, Eliiza and his parents for their constant support!

Molly Francis(Dewey/Ensemble) is excited to be back for her third show with DLC! Her past theater credits include: Morticia in the Addams Family at DLC, Bruce in Matilda at Laurel Mill Playhouse, Chef Louis in the Little Mermaid with Charm City Players, and many others. When not on stage Molly enjoys drawing and swimming. Molly would like to thank her parents, her castmates, and her directors for their endless support!

Terry Gottman

Terry Gottman (they/them) is proud to return to Drama Learning Center! They have been in past DLC productions, such as Shrek Jr. (Dwarf) and Newsies Jr. (Pat). Terry has also been in outside productions, playing Medea in "Jason and the Golden Fleece" at Drama Kids International. Terry also likes writing musicals themself, and they're currently working on "Cookie Run Kingdom: the Musical" and "The Bittersweet Downfall." Their hobbies outside of theatre include singing in choir, writing fanfiction, cosplaying, and fancasting fictional characters as characters from musicals. Special thanks to Aaron Ehasz, Devsisters, and Project Moon for creating Terry's four favorite characters (Claudia (TDP), Red Velvet Cookie (Cookie Run: Kingdom), Xylitol Nova Cookie (Cookie Run: Ovenbreak), and Awe Ryoshu (Limbus Company)), who you might be able to see in the audience!

Hannah Hals

Hannah who plays Kate is thrilled to be on the DLC stage again. The past shows she has done are Alice in Wonderland where she played Queen of hearts at DLC, Hadestown and was dance ensemble at DLC, Newsies and played Hazel at DLC, Addams Family and was an ancestor at DLC, she has done 6 other plays at DLC before. When Hannah is not on stage she loves to crochet and dance even though she isn't taking dance classes. Special thanks to Hannah's parents and all her best friends for the endless support.

Gillian Hayden (Winthrop) is thrilled to be on stage again at Drama Learning Center! Past theatre credits include The Prom (Angie) and Beetlejuice (Ms. Argentina) at DLC. Hendrix wants to give a special thanks to her Mommy, her newly found theater friends as well as her old ones, and Margo. Have fun!

When off the stage, she enjoys going to dunkin and playing video games. Tess (Paulette) is beyond excited to be returning to the DLC stage! They have previously been in a gazillion shows, but most recently they’ve been in Emily Brontë: Teenage Necromancer (Elizabeth), Newsies (Albert), and The Prince and the Pauper (Jane), all at DLC. When not on stage - which, admittedly, is not that often - Tess enjoys reading, writing, and petting their two poodles. Shout out to their parents, their friends, and their fellow actors. Claire North (Kyle/Ensemble) is excited to be in her first DLC production! Alexis is excited to be playing Judge and being part of the ensemble in Delta Nu cast in Legally Blonde Jr. She has performed in Newsies (Race) and Wizard of Oz (Tin man) at DLC and was part of the ensemble in A Wrinkle in Time and Between the Lines at Dunloggin Middle School. She enjoys plying softball and playing with her dogs.

Brianna Radik (Prison Guard/Ensemble) is excited to return to the DLC stage! Past theater credits include Newies (Davey), Wizard of Oz (Ms. Gulch) at DLC. She also did tech crew at her middle school, Dunloggin, she worked on music for the show Between The Lines an built the set for A Wrinkle in Time. When not on stage Brianna loves to play softball with her team the EYO Lady Hurricanes and she loves hanging out with her friends in and out of school. She wants to thank her family for everything they do to make her theater dreams come true and a special thanks to Vicky her friend from softball for being just as much as a theater kid as Bri.

Gabriella is so excited to make her DLC debut as Elle Woods, an ambitious-pink-loving-lawyer-diva!!! Gabriella is a rising junior at Southern High school where she has recently played Ramona Meringue/Coco in Zombie Prom, and Fate 2 in Hadestown. Other roles include Dorothy in Wizard of Oz, Tessie in Annie, Mary in a Christmas play all at Shady Side Theatre. During her years at Southern Middle School she played Le’fou in Beauty and the Beast, The ghost of christmas present In A Christmas Carol, and featured ensemble in both Mary Poppins and Wizard of Oz. When she’s not a in fabulous pink suit with a blonde wig she’s plays volleyball for her schools varsity team. She’d like to thank her Grandmother for driving her to practice and letting her live in her house all of these three amazing weeks. Also thanking her Mother, Father, and three little sisters for celebrating her theatrical advancements every step of the way love you guys.

Nikki “grand master chad” is thrilled to be on stage again at Drama learning center! Past theatre credits include “Hadestown as ensemble and one of the souls” along with “Shrek Jr as baby Shrek and pig number 3” I also did “Mean girls and I was Damian Leigh!” Along with “Beauty and the Beast played the tea cup!” “Into the woods played Cinderellas step mom” and “legally blonde playing grand master Chad” all at drama learning center! When not on stage Nikki enjoys playing games and talking to friends! Fun fact is she loves horses and dressing up! Special thanks to my aunt Brooke , my uncle Tim for their support!

Gwendolynn Watters (Brooke Whyndam/Delta Nu) is so excited to be back at DLC after a year away from the stage. She’s especially excited to perform ‘Whipped into Shape’ because jump roping and singing simultaneously is most definitely an easy and not-exhausting task that is not hard on the knees in any way. She would like to thank her mother for accompanying her to the MVA when she went to go get her learner’s permit after the first day of camp. She would also like to thank her little sister for crashing out when they play Phase 10 with their friends during lunch because it’s very entertaining to watch. Gwen is also very grateful to the ghost in her basement for purchasing tissues of the utmost quality for her after she watched Jujustsu Kaisen for the first time.

Jocelyn Watters

Jocelyn Watters (Margot/Delta Nu) is excited to be in another musical dancing her heart out. Previously she has performed as The Priest (Beetlejuice JR), Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland JR), Katherine (Newsies Jr), and an ancestor (Addams Family Jr). She would like to thank her mom for driving her and helping pick out her spirit day outfits when she couldn’t decide, Emma Taber for bringing the game phase 10, so they can play at lunch, Her friend Hayley Ferrara for listening to her ranting at gymnastics and being a great friend in general when Jocelyn is being annoying, And lastly her older sister Gwen for being supportive and watching the show Friends with her when they are home together. She has enjoyed beating everyone at Phase 10 (And crashing out when she doesn’t), She loves talking to her friends, going full out for spirit weeks (which is never hard to do wipes into shape in) and showing off her gymnastics skills in the production. Thank you and enjoy the show!

Welcome to Harvard!

Putting on a musical is always a tremendous undertaking, but what you are about to see on stage today is the result of so much hard work from each and every one of our incredible performers. From day one, these campers were asked to work quickly and efficiently to bring the vibrant world of Legally Blonde to life. I am thrilled to say that they were not just up to the task of an “intensive production,” they were excited for the challenge - meeting every single day of camp with energy, dedication, and determination.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this production is the way that our campers have supported one another throughout the process. We are so proud that each of these young artists have grown so much individually. But they have grown collectively as a unified ensemble as well, helping each other on stage and off.

As a director, the greatest joy of this production isn’t just watching their high energy choreo or the fun music throughout - it is seeing these campers actively build community. The encouragement they share and the sheer amount of fun they are having together is the true heart of this show. They have truly embodied the message of Legally Blonde: that with positivity, hard work, and a belief in yourself, you can accomplish anything.
