Stephanie Williams (she/her)
Owner/Artistic Director
Stephanie Lynn Williams has been the proud owner of DLC since 2006. Throughout the years she has expanded DLC’s reach and mission in the community and throughout Central Maryland. In addition to her dedication to the business’s growth and sustainability, some of her most cherished DLC memories involve directing the professional training program mainstage shows, and developing the next generation of young theatre professionals. Stephanie is a graduate of Goucher College with a degree in Theatre Performance and Directing. She is currently developing her next business venture just down the road from DLC at Clover Luck Stables. She loves having both of her businesses located in the same county where she grew up.

Jeff Miller (he/they)
​Associate Artistic Administrator
Jeff has been a Teaching Artist with DLC since 2016, and before that as a student since 2011. Some favorite productions that Jeff has worked on at DLC include Hairspray and Les Miserables as a performer; and The Lion King Jr. and Moana Jr. as a teacher. In addition to working at DLC, Jeff works as an adjunct professor at UMBC and performs as a professional wrestler.

Adeline “Addie” Sutter (she/her)
General Manager
Addie worked as a teaching artist for Drama Learning Center throughout college before becoming a nonprofit administrator in 2010. In 2011 she became the Deputy Director of the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House and was most recently the Director of Partner Development for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, where she spent much of the last decade. Addie is passionate about fostering the next generation of young people to help find their space in the theatre arts, whether on stage or behind the scenes. Addie is a proud Oakland Mills graduate and UMBC alumnus.

Debbie Leonard (she/queen)
Legacy Teaching Artist
Debbie Leonard is a Drama Learning Center institution who has been with the company for over 30 years. In that time, she has taught over 10,000 students to love musical theatre. Debbie is a Preschool Aid at Ilchester Elementary School and lives in Howard County with her family.

Dana Fleischer (she/her)
Office Manager
Dana Fleischer has been wearing many hats at DLC since joining the company in 2008. She taught for multiple years, then moved over to the administration side and took over as the Office Managers in the fall of 2012. She continued to work behind the scenes on mainstage shows, stage managing, production managing, and designing props for both TYA and Red Branch Theatre Company regularly. Dana holds a degree in Theatre Performance from Villa Julie College, now Stevenson University.

Teaching Artists
Our teaching artist staff is composed of highly-qualified teaching artists and dedicated educators. Many of our instructors are career education professionals with a love of sharing the arts with the next generation. In all that we do, our staff is committed to providing your children with a quality arts education in a safe and nurturing environment.
All teaching artists and staff have been fingerprinted/background checked, and the majority of our staff is currently certified in CPR and First-Aid. Our teaching artists are held to the highest quality teaching standards and receive regular professional development.

Set Designers
Our intimate stage and 120-seat theater asks for creative ways for Set Designers to create place while maximizing the space. We are looking for a candidate who has 3-5 years of experience with digital drafting, supply budgeting, and overseeing a construction team. This person will work with the Design Consultant, Production Coordinator, and Scenic Carpenter, and will report to the General Manager. Expectation: - With the input of the Design Consultant and Production Coordinator, design set pieces and scenery plans. - Create a construction plan. - Build a supply list and source materials, staying on budget. - Schedule and lead load-in. - Review rehearsal and show reports. Carpenters
DLC is looking for Scenic Carpenters for the remainder of the 2023 season and to review portfolios of Carpenters looking for future projects. This person will work with the Set Designer and Production Coordinator to create the set. They will report to the Production Coordinator. Expectation: - Construct set pieces and scenery plans provided by the Set Designer during load-in. - Review rehearsal and show reports for any set damages and work with the Production Coordinator to fix them. - Lead strike and make sure the shop is properly put back together.
