Samantha Brewer (Elle Woods) is a rising freshman at Wildelake Highschool. She is ecstatic to be returning to Drama Learning Center (DLC)! Past theater experience include Shrek Jr. (Fiona,) Finding Nemo Jr. (Marlin,) Wednesday Jr. (Morticia,) and many more. While theater and singing is her main passion, she also enjoys playing the guitar, and swimming. She would like to thank her mother, and father for their constant support, and her past theater director, Ms. Debbie, for helping her grow and shine to be the best she can be.

Milly Campbell (Margot/Workout Video) is excited to debut on the Drama Learning Center stage! Her previous shows include Mary Poppins JR. (Jane Banks) at St. Louis School and Annie JR. (Officer Ward/Ensemble) at St. Louis School. While not being on stage, Milly enjoys competing gymnastics and reading books. Special thanks to family and friends including: Alexis and Steven, Maddie, Ava, Annie, Emma, Rosalind, and Camryn.

Kalilah Harris is a rising Sophomore at Oakland Mills High School, and she is elated to be back on the Drama Learning Center stage. In the past she has performed in roles such as Fiona in Shrek the Musical at Lake Elkhorn Middle School, Emma in The Prom at DLC, Sandy in SpongeBob the Musical and LEMS, and Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins at DLC. Additionally, she is in the Young Columbians, a youth performance group coordinated by the Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts. Outside of theater, she enjoys writing, horseback riding, art, and playing guitar. She is so grateful for her parents who are always there every step of the way, and she thanks her friends and family for always supporting her.

Liesel (Kiki) is thrilled to be back at Drama Learning Center (DLC). Evelyn "Evy" Ho is happy to be back at Drama Learning Center after not performing there for a long time! Past theatre credits include: The Little Prince (Childrens Chorus) at The Kennedy Center, and As You Like It (Aliens/Hymen) at Clarksville Middle School. Evelyn Kain ( store manager/ensemble ) is ecstatic to be back at Drama learning center! Some of her past roles include The wicked witch of the West (DLC and Burleigh Manor middle school) in wizard of Oz .Jr, Jane Banks at (DLC)in Mary Poppins.Jr, fate three (DLC)in Hadestown teen edition, and most recently, Nancy Nostradamus (DLC) in something Rotten Jr. when Evelyn not performing on stage, Evelyn enjoys to play in her two youth rock bands and learn piano. Evelyn would like to say thanks to her mom, dad, DLC, and all of her past cast mates for all the support and kindness!

Lizzy (Chutney Wyndham/Ensemble) is excited to be onstage at Drama Learning Center yet again! Favorite shows with DLC include: Newsies (Ada/Ensemble), Something Rotten (Eye Patch Man/Ensemble), Hadestown (Ensemble), and Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Father). When not doing theater, she enjoys dancing and reading until way too late at night. Thanks to Mom and Dad for supporting all of her chaos!

Rosalind is thrilled to be on stage again at dlc legally blonde. Past theatre credits include the lion king jr where Rosalind was a Rafiki at dlc. When not on stage Rosalind enjoys to annoy her dog and snuggle her dog. Amani Makhfi (Jet blue pilot/Ensemble) is thrilled to back at the DLC stage again! The past theater credits include: 101 Dalmatians (pepper) at DLC and Finding Nemo (Gurgle) at the American school of Doha theater. When Amani not on stage, she enjoys to bedazzle, do Cheerleading and choreographing/making dances. Kylie marvel (Pforzheimer/video performer/hairstylist/ensemble) is thrilled to return to the DLC stage. Past theater credits include Matilda (prefect #6) at DLC, Finding Nemo Jr (narrator) at parks and rec, and Homecoming showcase (ensemble) at DLC. When not on stage, Kylie likes to weave or dance. She wants to thank her mom and dad for supporting her.

Amelia Medranda (Paulette) is elated to be returning to the DLC stage. Her past theatrical experiences include [Matilda] (Mrs. Wormwood) at Drama Learning Center, [Finding Nemo] (Dory) at Northfield Theater, [Peter Pan and Wendy] (Peter Pan) at Burleigh Manor Theatre and [High School Musical] ( Sharpay) at the Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts. This is Asha Miller. She is proud to be making her debut on D.L.C’s stage. Her most significant roles have been Annie from C.C.T.A’s production of Annie, the Fairy Godmother from C.C.T.A’s production of Cinderella, and Tamatoa from D.L.C’s production of Moana. Besides theater Asha enjoys doing gymnastics and crocheting. Special thanks to Asha’s parents Mike and Leah Miller for supporting her love for theater.

Melody Palmer (Emmett Forest) is over the moon to perform once more at the Drama Learning Center! Past theatre credits include Shrek: The Musical (Princess Fiona) at DLC, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! (Snoopy) at Sudbrook Magnet Middle School, Newsies (Katherine Plumber) at DLC, and Into the Woods (Florinda) at DLC. When Melody is not on stage, she enjoys writing literature and playing the piano. Sophie Plot (Prison Guard/Ensemble) is happy to be back at the Drama Learning Center! Emma Tabor (Brooke Whyndam) is elated to be performing in Legally Blonde! At Drama Learning Center Emma has been onstage as Coco/Darla Darlington in Zombie Prom, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins JR, and Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland JR. At Catonsville High School she performed as Countess Lily in Anastasia. Offstage Emma enjoys reading and playing with her bunny. Camryn Torres(Gaelen/Sabrina/Ensemble) is excited to be in Legally Blonde! She loves to do musical theatre, triathalons, swim, bike, and bake. She’s only been in DLC, where she has done The Little Mermaid (Flounder), Matilda (Trunchbull), Wizard of Oz (Ensemble), Alice in Wonderland (Ensemble), Shrek (Narrator 1), Newsies (Race), Hadestown (Ensemble), and many more! Welcome to Harvard!

Putting on a musical is always a tremendous undertaking, but what you are about to see on stage today is the result of so much hard work from each and every one of our incredible performers. From day one, these campers were asked to work quickly and efficiently to bring the vibrant world of Legally Blonde to life. I am thrilled to say that they were not just up to the task of an “intensive production,” they were excited for the challenge - meeting every single day of camp with energy, dedication, and determination.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this production is the way that our campers have supported one another throughout the process. We are so proud that each of these young artists have grown so much individually. But they have grown collectively as a unified ensemble as well, helping each other on stage and off.

As a director, the greatest joy of this production isn’t just watching their high energy choreo or the fun music throughout - it is seeing these campers actively build community. The encouragement they share and the sheer amount of fun they are having together is the true heart of this show. They have truly embodied the message of Legally Blonde: that with positivity, hard work, and a belief in yourself, you can accomplish anything.
