Junie B. Jones: the Musical

Drama Learning Center’s professional training company for emerging young artists will present Junie B. Jones: the Musical this July. Junie B. Jones gives audiences a sneak peek into the "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal" of the outspoken and lovable Junie B. Jones.

It’s Junie B.’s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her. Audiences will follow her through adventures of making new friends, getting glasses, and other exciting first grade happenings. Adapted from four of Barbara Park’s best-selling books, this musical comedy is perfectly hilarious for kids and kids at heart.

Les Misérables: School Edition

Drama Learning Center’s summer camp program has inaugurated a Premiere Performers camp this year, which will produce Les Misérables: School Edition at Howard High School this month as well. A four-week summer camp program for middle and high school students, the Premiere Performers camp session will culminate in five final performances from July 25-27.

Les Misérables is the world’s longest running musical—a true modern classic based on Victor Hugo’s novel and featuring one of the most memorable scores of all time. Set in nineteenth century France, Les Misérables is an epic, grand, and uplifting musical tale. The school edition is an author-approved abridged edition designed for school-age performers.
