Getting To Know Our Summer Staff #4
Over the next couple of weeks, we will introduce you to the faces you can find at DLC teaching camps this summer! Next up is Ms. Allison!
Meet Summer Camp Teaching Artist Ms. Allison
What can campers expect from your camp?
Campers can expect to have fun and have a safe environment to learn and explore their creativity. They can expect a lot of singing and dancing and making new friends as they go on these camp adventures together.
What is your fondest memory of teaching/directing for DLC?
I’ve never taught or directed at DLC before, but my fondest memory there was celebrating with my friends after every show. I made so many great bonds and had fun. I also have helped with a school production and loved seeing the little kids thrive and shine on stage.
Tell us one fun fact about yourself!
I like fuzzy socks! They can be fun and colorful and make you feel so comfy!
What’s your favorite Disney/Pixar movie and why?
My favorite Disney movie is Aladdin. I love music and stories with a happily ever after. Iago is a very funny bird who makes me laugh, Abu is a monkey who can be mischievous, and the Genie is a blue giant who will grant you three wishes!
Allison is scheduled to be a counselor for some Broadway Babies camps this summer, as well as our in-person Best of Broadway camp! These virtual sessions are designed for preschool students ages 3-5. Campers will meet over Zoom for 5-day sessions and share what they have learned at the end of the week in a short showcase. Learn more about our Broadway Babies camps and register for one today on our summer camp page.
