About the Season
Some people write musicals about great love stories. Other people write musicals based on movies they saw in the theater. Yet still other people write musicals about people writing musicals. Red Branch is going to do all of those musicals in 2013 (at least the ones we know of). Come see musical theatre from an insider’s perspective with Red Branch: Write On! Subscription Plans
We have simplified our subscription packages to suit every possible theatrical experience. Now with the 2, 4, and
6-show plans, use your tickets for each separate title or all at the show of your choice. For our youngest audience members, we also have a children’s package so that they can be sure to make it to each of our Parent’s Night Out PJ Parties. |

6-Show Plan $95 for first subscription, 10% off for each additional subscription.

The Last Five Years Cabaret
Join Red Branch Theatre Company as we celebrate the beginning of our fifth season with an evening of songs and merriment. Red Branch Company Members will regale the crowd with numbers from seasons past while providing a sneak peek at what’s in store for the coming year and beyond. Our legal team wants to make sure that we make it evident that
The Last Five Years Cabaret is not to be confused with The Last Five
Years. Jason Robert Brown, please don’t come knocking down the doors—unless you want to visit. All of the cool composers are doing it. Jeff Marx from Avenue Q did it… just sayin’. Even if Jason Robert Brown doesn’t come to visit, special surprises will be around every corner. |

A Weekend of Children’s Theatre Fun
To serve our youngest audience members, we will present an evening of children’s theatre fun that is sure to please. Bring the PJs and a friend for Friday’s Parent’s Night Out PJ Party. Drop the kids off at 7:00
pm to enjoy a show from a touring production company, followed by crafts, theatre games, and fun. Saturday and Sunday afternoon performances will be for the whole family. |
April 5-21

This gem explores the idea of how you dazzle an audience with just four actors, four stools, and a keyboard. While [title of show] may not have the same level of spectacle of many of its other Broadway counterparts, we aim to prove that it has twice the heart. |
September 27-October 13
Tick, Tick… BOOM!
The autobiographical musical tale of Jonathan Larson, the beloved composer of the Broadway smash hit
RENT, comes to the Red Branch stage. Take a journey back to 1990 and travel through pop and rock hits with powerhouse vocals that tell the story of Jon, who is waiting tables while trying to write the great American musical. |
October 18-27
Dear Edwina
Follow Edwina Spoonapple into her family garage as she gives musical advice in the hopes of wooing a talent scout. Together with her family and neighbors, she counsels the community on everyday etiquette through zany songs and dances produced by the Spoonapple Repertory Theatre. Told through a show-within-a-show format, this musical about kids writing a musical is sure to please every member of your family. |
