About Drama Learning Center’s Summer Camps:
The Drama Learning Center’s (DLC) mission is to provide participants with opportunities to
have fun as they learn and improve drama skills, perform on a musical stage, and work as a
theatrical team. In addition to rehearsing for a final performance, participants will gain
knowledge of drama skills, including stage directions, improvisation, pantomime, emotions,
character, and more!
In addition to a fun theatre experience, your summer DLC tuition includes:
Costume pieces for performances, 2 complimentary show tickets, craft supplies, and a DLC
summer camp T-shirt. Three-week sessions also include admission for a walking fieldtrip
to Shadowland Laser Tag!

Camp day is 9am-3pm. Before and After-care available. 1 day, 1 week, & 3 week camps!
All camps culminate in a final performance. |

Best of DLC Week -Come to one day or every day of the Best of DLC Week!
Each day of the week we will focus on a different musical from DLC’s past. Learn about and
perform songs from your favorite shows. What show do you want to do? Let us know
your suggestions! Final selections based on your votes will be released on the website on April 15th. Each day will culminate in a short showcase performance.

1-Week Camps

Disney On Stage - Grades K-5
From High School Musical to Hannah Montana, Little Mermaid to Lion King, Disney is
taking the world by storm! Learn & perform some of your favorite Disney songs and scenes.

On Broadway - Grades 6-12
Students will learn and perform songs from the hottest shows currently on Broadway:
Wicked, Hairspray, Avenue Q, Rent, Chicago, Spamalot, Legally Blond, Spring Awakening and more!

American Idol Camp – Grades K-5, 6-12
Learn the latest pop music and moves during your week at American Idol camp. Camp will culminate in an American-Idol style performance at the end of the week. Could you be the next Jordin Sparks, Blake Lewis, Clay Aiken, or even Kelly Clarkson?

Best of Broadway – Grades K-5, 6-12
Students have a blast singing, dancing, and acting in our highly popular Broadway review.
Join our amazing staff Mrs. C, Ms. Addie, Ms. Karice, and Ms. Donna as you discover
Broadway through the ages!

Alice in Wonderland - Grades 1-5
The Lewis Carroll classic comes to life on the DLC stage. Follow Alice through the looking
glass, down the rabbit hole, and back again in this wonderful musical adventure.

Godspell, Jr. - Grades 6-12
This best loved musical by three-time Academy Award-winner Stephen Schwartz is
groundbreaking and unique, with a message of kindness, tolerance, and love.

Wagon Wheels West - Grades 1-5
Hold on for a rootin’-tootin’ musical set in the Old West. When trailblazing’ hero Chuck
Wagon is falsely accused of being Snake the bandit, he must call on the help of his friends to prove his innocence. This fast-paced comedy will show you how the West was fun!

Oklahoma - Grades 6-12
Set in a Western territory just after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s popular show will have you shouting “OK!”

Extended care sessions are available from 7:00am-9:00 am and 3:00-6:00 pm.
1-week session before care: $60 3-week session before care: $140

Drop in care is also available at $10/hour. Extended care payment in full is due June 1st. |
