"Musical Theatre Bootcamp"

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: Get the skills you need to get audition ready for Musical Theatre.
Group will be divided into Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced. Students will work singing, dancing, and acting skills,
repertoire selection, audition etiquette and preparedness, mock callbacks, and more! All students will also complete
the week with a formatted theatrical resume and a professional headshot. A perfect way to start prepping for school auditions.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: Lights, camera, action! Campers will have a blast exploring all different aspects of TV production as they develop ideas for new reality shows and commercials and then bring them to life on film! Supervised walking field trips will be taken to shoot segments “on location!" Come to the final screening of the campers’ creations.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: See your name up on the big screen! Our TV Stars camp lets students put their creativity to work as they concept a TV sitcom or music video and learn about TV Production. From the drawing board to the final product, campers will have the opportunity to explore creative aspects of the production process. There will be a final screening of the campers’ creations

Are you crazy for One Direction? Love belting out Selena, Demi, and Carly Rae? Gaga for Lady Gaga? Got Beiber fever? Then come to DLC's Pop Star camp to learn about your favorite pop stars and jam out to rocking radio hits. Camp will culminate in a final song and dance showcase featuring all of our DLC Pop Stars.

You don’t have to be Taylor Swift to get in touch with your down home country roots. Dust off the cowboy boots and throw on that ten-gallon hat as you celebrate country royalty with the DLC Country Music Awards. Featuring songs from all your favorite country artists like Taylor, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Rascall Flatts, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and more.

Do you like to Rock & Roll all night? Then party every day during our camp for budding rock stars! Campers will rock out to classics and contemporaries while creating rock star alter egos and taking their show “on the road” for a final performance on our stage at the end of the week. Tour bus not needed!

"Raise Your Voice"

Though we won't have Adam, Christina, Ceelo, and Blake here this summer, we know our campers’ vocal talents will rival the competitors of
The Voice. On the first day of camp, students will audition for our judges and be placed on teams. Throughout the week they will work with their “coaches” on solos, duets, choreography, and harmony singing to perfect a team medley for competition at the end of the session. An audience vote will determine the winning team at their final showcase performance.

"Mulan"

Travel back to the legendary, story-telling days of ancient China with this action-packed stage adaptation of
Disney’s Mulan. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor!
Mulan is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit. The score includes favorites like “Reflection,” “Honor to Us All” and “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” as well as new songs that will get campers ready to “get down to business!”

Build a “Beautiful City” this summer at DLC. Renewed in popularity from a recent and exciting Broadway revival, this amazing musical from the creator of such Broadway greats as
Wicked and Pippin returns to the DLC stage this summer! Drawing from various theatrical traditions, such as clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics and vaudeville,
Godspell is a unique theatrical experience with a message of kindness, tolerance and love.

| About DLC’s
Columbia Summer Camps |
Drama Learning Center’s (DLC) mission is to provide campers with opportunities to have fun as they learn and improve drama skills, perform on a musical stage, and work as a theatrical team. In addition to rehearsing for a final performance, participants will gain knowledge of drama skills including stage directions, improvisation, pantomime, emotions, character, and more!

In addition to a fun theatrical experience, your summer DLC
tuition includes:
- Costume pieces for
performances
- Student's rehearsal CD
- Two complimentary show tickets
(additional tickets will be available for purchase)
- Craft supplies
- DLC Summer Camp T-Shirt (Included if
registered by June 1st. Not included with 1-Day or Preschool
Camps.)
- 3-Week sessions also include
admission to a walking fieldtrip to Shadowland Laser Tag!
Extended Care sessions are
available from 7:00 to 9:00 am and 3:00 to 6:00 pm. (Not available for Preschool
Camps).
Payment in full is due June 1st.

Extended Care Sibling Discount 50% off for a
sibling.
